  • Edit a task from the details panel

Open the task and edit each field in the panel itself: what you type or pick is saved right away, with no save button and no second window. The Opportunity tab at the top of the panel shows the opportunity the task belongs to.

    Before you start

    • Role: anyone with CRM access can edit the tasks they can see. Delete is different: only workspace Owner and Administrator see the button. Check what each role covers in the permissions table.
    • You can only edit tasks inside your attendance scope — if you only see your own tasks, the list and the panel follow that same scope.

    Open the panel

    1. In the CRM menu, open Tasks.
    2. Click the task row. The panel of the opportunity it belongs to opens, already on the Task tab.

It is the same panel you open from the kanban: the contact profile (details, purchases, tags) on the left and the task on the right. Two tabs at the top — Task and Opportunity — swap the right side without closing anything.

Inside an opportunity, clicking a task in the Focus list opens that same Task tab without leaving the panel. Appointments in the list still open the scheduling window.

The same panel opens from the Next actions tab of a pipeline — the steps below work in both places.

    Edit the fields

Each field saves on its own as soon as you confirm it. There is no save button.

    FieldWhere it isHow it saves
TitleAt the top of the panel, on the same row as the delete and close buttonsType and press Enter, or click outside. An empty title reverts to the previous value — a task without a title is not accepted.
PriorityFlag icon at the top rightPick Urgent, High, Medium, Low or No priority.
Task ownerFirst row of the Details blockPick the attendant from the list. You can reassign the task, but not leave it with nobody.
DueDetails blockPick the date and time. The sun button next to it marks All day (clears the time on the chosen day).
TypeDetails blockPick Task, Call or WhatsApp.
NotesNotes blockSaves on its own as you write.
AttachmentAttachment blockAttach file uploads it; the X next to the name removes it. One attachment per task.

The Details block ends with the linked Opportunity — click it to jump to the Opportunity tab.

To discard what you are typing in the title before confirming, press Esc.

    Accepted attachment types

Images (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP), PDF, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, TXT and CSV — up to 25 MB. Any other type, or a larger file, shows File type not allowed or larger than 25 MB and nothing is uploaded.

    Close the task

The completion buttons sit right below the title, before the details — you close the task without scrolling the panel:

    • Mark as resolved (green) closes the task as done.
    • Mark as unresolved (red) asks for a reason before closing. The reason stays on the panel.
    • Reopen brings a closed task back to open and clears the outcome.

    Follow the history

Below the attachment, the History block records everything that happened to the task: who created it, who edited it (with the field, the previous value and the new one), who commented and who completed it. Entries are grouped by day, newest first.

To comment, write in the field at the top of the block and click Comment — or press ⌘/Ctrl + Enter. The refresh button in the top-right corner reloads the list without closing the panel.

This history belongs to the task: none of it shows up in the opportunity's or the contact's history while the task is open. On completion, the opportunity receives one activity — Task completed — carrying that whole history inside.

    Open the task full screen

The expand button at the top right opens the task on its own dedicated page — a URL of its own that you can share with a teammate.

    See the task's opportunity

Every task belongs to an opportunity. Click the Opportunity tab at the top of the panel: the right side switches to the full opportunity — stages, value, activities and attachments — while the contact profile on the left stays put.

Go back to the Task tab to pick up where you left off. To open the opportunity full screen, use the expand button in its header.

The tabs only show up when you arrive from a task. Opening the opportunity straight from the kanban gives you the usual panel.

    Appointments work differently

An appointment (a meeting with a slot on your calendar) is not edited here: the panel shows its data read-only and the Edit button opens the scheduling window, where the time, room and guests live. The outcome actions — Mark as confirmed, Reschedule, No-show, Unresolved and Mark as resolved — stay on the panel itself. See how do I record what happened in a scheduled meeting for what each one does.
