      • How to change a contact photo

      Every contact shows a photo on their page. Until a photo is uploaded, the contact shows the initials of their name — and for contacts that arrived through Instagram, their Instagram profile picture is used automatically. A photo you upload manually takes priority over the Instagram one, including in support conversations.

      Prerequisite: a role with edit access to contacts (Owner, Admin, Editor or Collaborator).

      Steps

      1. Open Contacts in the side menu.
      2. Click the contact's row to open their page — anywhere on the row works (the selection checkbox, tags and channels keep their own actions and do not open the contact).
      3. On the contact page, hover over the photo (or the initials) next to the name and click it.
      4. Pick the image from your computer.

      The photo updates immediately on the contact page.

      If it didn't work

      • "Unsupported format" message: convert the image to JPG, PNG or WebP and try again.
      • "Image is too large" message: reduce the file to 5 MB or less.
      • The photo did not change after upload: reload the page; if it persists, upload again.
