  • How do I open the pipeline for an opportunity shown in Support?

In the contact panel to the right of the conversation, open the Opportunities tab and click Open in pipeline inside the opportunity card. You land on the pipeline board with that opportunity already open — not on an empty board, hunting for the card by hand.

    Before you start

    • Where: Support › Conversations › open a conversation › contact panel › Opportunities tab.
    • The contact needs at least one opportunity. With none, the tab shows No opportunities.

Open the opportunity in the pipeline

    1. Open the contact's conversation.
    2. In the panel on the right, click the Opportunities tab.
    3. Find the opportunity you want. The pipeline name is under Details → Pipeline.
    4. Click Open in pipeline, just below the Move stage button.

The pipeline board opens with the opportunity already expanded in its panel. Close the panel to see the whole board; click the card to open it again.

    Won and lost opportunities

The pipeline board always starts on the In progress tab. If the opportunity you opened has already been marked won or lost, the board switches to Won or Lost on its own — so when you close the panel, you are still looking at a board that contains that opportunity.

The card in Support shows the state before you click: the tag in the top-right corner reads OPEN, WON or LOST.

Would rather stay in the conversation?

To only move the opportunity to another stage, use Move stage right there on the card — you pick the target stage and the opportunity goes to the end of it, without opening the pipeline and without losing sight of the conversation.

    If it didn't work

    • You saw the warning "This opportunity is no longer available." → the opportunity was deleted, or it is outside your support scope. Check with whoever administers the pipeline whether it still exists and whether you are one of its agents.
    • The board opened, but without the opportunity panel → reload the page using the same link. If it persists, open the board from the list under Contacts & Sales → Pipelines and look for the card by the contact's name.
    • The Opportunities tab shows "No opportunities" → this contact has none yet. The Create opportunity button at the bottom of the panel only shows for pipeline administrators; if it isn't there, ask an administrator to open one.
