  • How to filter contacts by their opportunities

The contacts filter has an Opportunity condition: it finds the contacts that have (or don't have) an opportunity matching the rules you build — by tag, pipeline, stage, status, value, temperature, assignee, dates and more. It is the way to turn a commercial cut of the pipeline into a contact audience, ready to save as a segment.

    Before you start

    • A workspace role with CRM access and permission to see contacts and opportunities.
    • Conditions look at opportunities across all pipelines in the workspace. Deleted opportunities never count.

    Build the filter

    1. Open My Contacts and click Filters.
    2. Add a condition and pick the Some opportunity field (Opportunity group).
    3. Next to the field, pick the mode: has (the contact must have an opportunity matching the block) or does not have (the contact must have no opportunity matching it).
    4. In the block under the condition, build the opportunity rules: choose all conditions or any condition and add rows — for example, Tag in the tags of your cut, or Status is Won.
    5. Combine the Opportunity condition with the other contact conditions as usual. To reuse the cut, click Save as segment.

The same block is available when creating or editing a segment and in the contacts specialist mode.

All conditions apply to the same opportunity

Inside one block, every rule must be satisfied by the same opportunity. "Status is Won" + "Value greater than 10,000" only finds contacts with one won opportunity above 10,000 — a contact with a 200 won deal and a 50,000 lost deal does not match.

If different rules may be satisfied by different opportunities, add two separate Opportunity conditions: each block searches for its own opportunity.

    With or without any opportunity

Leave the block without conditions to filter by pure existence:

    • has + empty block → contacts with any opportunity.
    • does not have + empty block → contacts with no opportunity at all.
