Where files attached to tasks and meetings show up in an opportunity
In the opportunity's Files tab. It shows all three places a file can come from: the ones you uploaded to the opportunity itself, the attachment on each task, and the attachment on each meeting of that opportunity. Before, a file uploaded to a task stayed inside it.
Before you start
- Role: anyone with CRM access can see and download files from the opportunities they can view. Uploading and removing requires being the opportunity's owner or having permission to manage it. See what each role covers in the permissions table.
- You only see files from opportunities within your service scope.
Open the tab
- On the pipeline kanban, click the opportunity to open its panel.
- Click the Files tab, in the tab strip below the indicators.
The number next to the tab name is the total file count across all three places. With no files, the tab shows no number and the content reads Nenhum anexo ainda.
Read each row
Every row shows the file name and, below it, where it came from:
Size only shows on files uploaded directly to the opportunity — tasks and meetings store the file and its name, not its size.
Click the file name to open it: images and PDFs open in a preview window, other types download. The download button on the right of the row downloads any of them.
Jump to the source task or meeting
Click the from task … or from meeting … text below the file name:
- Task — the panel switches to the Tarefa tab, with the file in the Anexo block.
- Meeting — the scheduling window for that meeting opens.
Upload a new file
Use Anexar arquivo at the top of the tab. It is stored as a file of the opportunity itself, with no link to a task or meeting.
To attach it to a specific action, upload it through the Anexo field of the task or meeting: the file shows in both places, with no second upload.
Remove a file
The trash button only appears on files uploaded directly to the opportunity. On files coming from a task or a meeting it is dimmed, with the hint Anexo da tarefa ou da reunião — remova na origem.
To take one of those off the tab, remove the attachment where it was created — through the X next to the name in the task's Anexo block, or in the attachment field of the scheduling window. It leaves the Files tab right away. Deleting the task or the meeting has the same effect.
