  • How do I find a specific campaign in the Ads dashboard?

Go to Traffic → Performance and use the bar above the By Campaign table: the Search campaign, ad set or ad… field finds by name, and the Filters button narrows the list by status, ad account, funnel, objective or the period's metrics. The table shows 20 campaigns per page, and you change the sorting by clicking a column title.

Search, filters, sorting and page live in the page address. Copy the browser link to send that exact view to someone else.

    Before you start

    Step by step

    1. Go to Traffic → Performance and make sure the By Campaign tab is selected.
    2. To find by name, type in Search campaign, ad set or ad…. The list refreshes shortly after you stop typing. The search also finds campaigns by the name of an ad set or ad inside them — open the campaign with the arrow on the left to reach it.
    3. To narrow by another criterion, click Filters and then Add filter. Each row has three parts: the field, the operator and the value.
    4. Pick the field:
      • Status — is any of Active, Paused or Archived.
      • Ad account — is any of one or more connected accounts.
      • Funnel — is any of the workspace funnels, or identified / not identified to separate spend with a destination funnel from spend without one.
      • Objective — is any of the objectives that appear in your campaigns.
      • Spend (currency units), Impressions and Clicks — is at least or is at most a number, counted within the period selected at the top. Spend is typed in whole currency units, not cents.
    5. Add as many rows as you need. They all apply at once: two Spend rows become a range, and two rows of the same field with is any of only keep what is in both.
    6. To sort, click a metric column title. The first click sorts from highest to lowest; the second flips it. Campaigns with no value in that column always stay at the end.
    7. In the footer, change page or pick 20, 50 or 100 rows per page.
    8. To go back to the full dashboard, click Clear filters, next to the Filters button.

    Choose the columns

The Columns button, next to Filters, turns the table metrics on and off. It offers Ad spend, Impressions, Clicks, Link clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, Reach (daily sum), Frequency and Leads (platform). CPM, Reach (daily sum), Frequency and Leads (platform) start off. At least one column always stays checked.

    ColumnWhat it shows
ClicksAny click on the ad. On Meta it includes likes, profile clicks and "see more".
Link clicksOnly the clicks that led to the ad's destination — Meta Ads Manager's "Link clicks". On Google it shows "—": there, Clicks already is the link click.
CTR and CPCCalculated over Link clicks, as Meta Ads Manager does — even when they are zero: a Meta ad with likes and no link clicks has a 0% CTR. Only a platform that doesn't report link clicks (Google) uses Clicks.
Reach (daily sum)People reached on each day, added up over the period. Someone who saw the ad on three days counts three times — it is not the total of unique people.
FrequencyImpressions ÷ reach: how many times, on average, each person saw the ad in a day.
Leads (platform)The leads the platform itself counts (instant form and the pixel's lead event). It sits next to Clickmax Leads, which come from your funnels. On Google it stays at zero.
    • The choice is remembered in this browser, separately for each workspace and for each tab (By Campaign and By Funnel). When you come back, the table opens the way you left it.
    • Columns that depend on Clickmax sales (revenue, ROAS, leads, sales, CPL and CPA) only appear in the picker once the workspace's first ad click turns into a visit, contact or sale — see How does Clickmax know which leads and sales came from each ad?.

    Budget

On the By Campaign tab, the Budget column always sits next to Status. It shows how much the campaign or ad set can spend, as configured on the platform. Ad spend is how much has already been spent in the period.

    • R$ 50/day — daily budget. R$ 500 lifetime — budget for the whole period, with how much is left.
    • Below it you see the delivery period: until Oct 31, starts on Nov 5 or ended on Oct 10.
    • From campaign — the ad set has no budget of its own: the campaign's budget is split across ad sets by performance.
    • Hover over the amount to see when the platform spends and the bid strategy. On a given day, Meta may spend up to 75% over the daily budget, never more than 7 times the daily amount in a week; Google may spend up to twice, never more than 30.4 times the daily amount in a month.
    • The budget refreshes on every sync. If you changed it in Ads Manager, click Sync under Traffic → Connections.
    • On Google only the daily budget and the bid strategy show up; the delivery period is not displayed.

Click a campaign or ad set name to see Budget and delivery: budget, period, bid strategy and, on Meta ad sets, what delivery optimizes for, how the account is charged, the bid cap, the destination, the audience (age, gender and locations) and the placements. Automatic means Meta chooses where to show.

    What to expect

    • The counter in Filters (n) shows how many filter rows are complete. A row with no value chosen neither counts nor affects the list.
    • The footer shows how many campaigns match the view, not only the ones on the page.
    • When nothing matches, the table shows No campaigns found. Check the search and the filters before suspecting the sync.
    • Changing the period, platform or project at the top goes back to the first page, because the whole list changes.
    • Campaigns, ad sets and ads archived or deleted on the platform stay in the list with the Archived status, with the spend from the days they ran.
    • Opening a campaign shows all of its ad sets and ads, in the same order chosen in the column. Performance Max campaigns have no ads to open — that is a Google limitation, not a sync error.
