Update the image on a funnel page card
The image on each funnel page card is a thumbnail — an automatic snapshot of the published page. Publishing the funnel already regenerates the thumbnail of every published page in it, external pages included: the cards swap the image on their own within a minute, no builder reload needed. Use Generate thumbnail on the card when you want a fresh snapshot without publishing again — for example, after changing something outside Clickmax on an external page.
Role: anyone with access to the funnel in the workspace can do this.
Before you start: the snapshot is taken from the page's public address. A page built in the editor must be published; an external page only needs its address registered.
Steps
- Open the funnel in the builder.
- On the page card, click the options menu (three-dot icon).
- Choose Generate thumbnail.
- Stay on the screen: within a few seconds the card image is replaced by the new snapshot.
The same action is available in the page list, under Create → Pages, in each page's menu.

If it didn't work
- The option looks greyed out: the page has not been published yet. Publish it and try again — external pages have no such requirement.
- The option is not in the menu: the card has no page linked to it yet. Add content to the card or link an external page first.
- The image did not change after a few seconds: wait up to a minute — the snapshot is taken after the published page goes live. If it still looks the same, reload the funnel and check that the page address opens normally in a private tab — pages behind a password, bot protection, or a domain that has not propagated yet cannot be captured.
- The thumbnail shows the previous version of the page: publish the funnel again or use Generate thumbnail. The snapshot is taken right after publishing, so a page that is slow to propagate through the cache may be captured with the old content.
