  • How do I open an appointment’s opportunity from the calendar?

In the day panel, click the icon next to the contact name: that appointment’s opportunity opens in a panel over the calendar, without switching tabs. It is the same opportunity panel you use in the pipeline.

    Before you start

    • You need access to Commercial → Scheduling.
    • You only see the appointments within your attendance scope.

    Open the opportunity

    1. Go to Commercial → Scheduling and stay on the Calendar tab.
    2. Click the day that has the appointment. The day panel opens on the right.
    3. On the appointment card, click the icon next to the contact name — the label is Open opportunity.

The opportunity opens on top of the calendar. Close the panel to return to the day you were looking at — nothing is lost, the calendar stays behind it.

Inside the panel you get the usual: stages, tasks, notes, files, and the contact on the left.

When the appointment has no opportunity

Not every appointment starts linked to an opportunity — an invite created straight in the calendar, for instance, may carry only the contact.

In that case the icon is still there, but labelled Open lead profile, and it opens the contact profile in a new tab, as before.

To know which case you are in beforehand, look at the Pipeline: line just below on the card: if it shows, the appointment has an opportunity.

    If it did not work

    • The icon does not show → the icon lives on the contact name line, so it disappears with it when the appointment has no linked contact. Open the appointment through the pencil icon on the card to see and fix the links.
    • It opened the contact profile in another tab, and you expected the opportunity → that appointment is not linked to any opportunity. Confirm through the Pipeline: line on the card.
