  • Where do I find the recording, transcript, and result of a call?

    Every call made with the Clickmax dialer becomes an activity on the contact's timeline — and on the opportunity's timeline too, when the call started from one. The activity gathers the real call duration, the result you registered, the note, a player to listen to the recording, and the transcript of what was said.

    The contact who answers is not automatically told the call is being recorded — see is the contact told that the call is being recorded?.

    Before you start

    • Voice calls must be enabled for your user. If you don't see the Call button, contact support.
    • Any workspace role that can see the contact can see call activities.

    Find the call on the timeline

    1. Open the contact (or the opportunity the call started from).
    2. On the activity timeline, look for the Call completed entry — the title shows the real duration of the conversation, for example Call completed (2min 5s). Calls that didn't connect show as Call not completed, with the reason.
    3. The activity shows:
      • the result the attendant registered at the end of the call (Answered, No answer, Voicemail, Wrong number, Callback scheduled, or Not interested);
      • the note written in the call result form;
      • the audio player to listen to the recording right on the timeline;
      • the View transcript link, on answered calls, which opens the written conversation.

    Read the conversation transcript

    During the call, Clickmax transcribes the conversation in real time — that's what feeds the copilot suggestions in the call window. After the call ends, the same transcript is available on the activity.

    1. On the Call completed activity, click View transcript.
    2. The conversation shows in the order it was spoken, separating what the Agent and the Contact said.
    3. Click Hide transcript to close it.

    Anyone with read access to Calls — the same permission that lets you listen to recordings — can see the transcript.

    If you see This call has no transcript., the conversation wasn't transcribed — for example, calls made before transcription existed or when the transcription service failed during the call. The recording, when there is one, is still available on the player.

    When the recording appears

    The recording is not instant: after the call ends, the audio is still processed. It usually becomes available on the activity within a few minutes. If the call entry is already there but the player isn't, reload the page a little later.

    The result and the note appear as soon as the attendant saves the form at the end of the call — including when they save it after the call already shows on the timeline.

    Calls made before this update stay as they were registered: no recording, result, or note on the timeline, and with the duration rounded to whole minutes in the title.

    Where else the call appears

    • On the History tab of the call window, during a new call to the same contact — useful to pick up context before talking.
    • On the contact's message timeline, alongside WhatsApp, email, and other channels, filtering by the Call channel.

    See the call history in the LiveChat Cockpit

    In the contact's Cockpit, the Calls block gathers the contact's WhatsApp and VoIP calls, newest first.

    1. Open the contact's conversation in LiveChat and, in the Cockpit, open the Calls block.
    2. Use the All filter or pick a channel to see only WhatsApp or VoIP calls.
    3. Click View the call to open the detail: the recording, the Transcript, and the Summary.
    4. On an answered VoIP call with a transcript, click Generate summary. The summary is generated once and saved on the call; a second click shows the same text. It is always written in Portuguese.

    The summary can only be generated after the call ends. If Could not generate the summary right now appears, try again in a moment. Attendants restricted to some WhatsApp numbers only see the calls of those numbers; VoIP calls stay visible.
