  • Why does the Ads dashboard ask me to pick a currency?

Because your ad accounts advertise in different currencies, for example reais and dollars, and adding amounts in different currencies would give a number with no unit. While the filter is on All currencies, the dashboard shows a yellow notice at the top of Traffic → Performance and stops calculating what only makes sense with one currency. Picking a currency in the filter fixes it.

    Before you start

    • A workspace role that reaches the Traffic area — see Traffic.
    • Ad accounts in more than one currency. With a single currency the currency filter does not even appear.

    Step by step

    1. Go to Traffic → Performance.
    2. In the All currencies filter, next to the period, platform and project filters, pick the currency you want to analyze.
    3. Check the cards at the top: Ad spend, Average CPC and Average CPM now show a single value, in the chosen currency.

The chosen currency stays in the page address. Copy the browser link to send exactly this view to someone else.

    What changes with mixed currencies

    WhereWhat happens
Ad spend cardShows the amount in each currency, for example "R$ 200,000 · US$ 5,200", instead of a total.
Average CPC and Average CPM cardsShow "—", because a ratio between money in different currencies and clicks has no unit.
By Campaign tabStays complete: each row shows its values in the currency of its own account.
By Funnel tabAsks you to pick a currency, because each funnel adds up campaigns from different accounts.
Scorecard tabThe money rows (spend, CPC, CPM) show "—". Impressions and clicks stay normal, because counts do not depend on currency.
