How do I change the bubble color and chat background?
In the Appearance tab of the LiveChat settings you set the bubble color of the messages you send on each channel and the background behind the messages. The choice applies to the whole workspace and applies to every agent.
Before you start
- Role: only the Owner and Admins can change it. Everyone else sees the tab but cannot edit.
- Where: LiveChat settings › Appearance.
Change the sent bubble color
- Under Sent bubble color, pick the channel: WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Webchat, Email or Other channels.
- Select a solid color (Green, Purple, Blue, Gray) or a gradient (green, purple and magenta, cyan, gray, indigo).
- For your own color, type the code in Custom color using the
#RRGGBBformat. Any other format shows "Use the #RRGGBB format" and is not saved.
Each channel keeps its own color. Channels without a choice use the default color. Received messages and internal notes keep their fixed color.
Change the conversation background
- Under Chat background, pick the type: Pattern, No pattern, Solid color or Gradient.
- Under Pattern, select Clickmax, Conversations, Commerce or Shapes.
- Under Solid color, select Default, Beige, Gray or Ice blue, or type a Custom color.
- Under Gradient, select Mist, Graphite, Sky or Sand.
The Preview box shows the result before you leave the tab. To go back to the original look, use Restore default.
If something goes wrong
