How do I ask Max to generate an image?
Ask in the chat for the image you want and where it goes, for example "generate a cover for my baking course, in pastel tones". Max generates the image, saves it at a public address and, after the reply, shows the Generated image card with the image and the link.
Before you start:
- Role: any workspace role that can open Max can ask for an image.
- The image lives at a public address: anyone with the link can open it. Do not ask for images with information that cannot be public.
- For images on the pages of a Max Design site, see AI-generated images in Max Design. Those stay inside the project and are published with the site.
1. Describe the image
Say the subject, style, lighting and colors. Also say where the image goes or the format you want:
Max asks for the image without written text in it. Put headings, prices and calls to action where the image goes (the page, the email, the product).
Each request generates one image. Max does not generate other versions on its own: if you don't like it, ask again and say what to change.
2. Use the image
The Generated image card shows the image, a short description, who generated it and the image address. Click the image (Open image) to open it in a new tab.
To use the image, ask Max in the same conversation (for example, "use this image as the offer cover") or copy the address and paste it where you need it.
Who generates the image: today, Max itself. Workspace AI keys cannot be used to generate images yet. The card caption shows who generated it.

If it didn't work
- Max said generation failed: try again in a few minutes.
- Max said the image was not saved: the image did not become available. Ask it to generate again.
- Max answered without generating the image: ask explicitly ("generate an image of…").
