Contacts
The Contacts hub is the Clickmax CRM: where you organise every contact you capture, group them into lists and segments, track opportunities across pipelines and share support work between attendants.
Role
- Owner, Admin, Editor and Collaborator see the whole CRM; Attendant and Guest see only their own scope (their contacts and opportunities); Finance has no CRM access. Without access the area is unavailable — see no permission.
- Management actions — configuring pipelines, managing attendants — require higher roles.
What to do here
- Import your first contacts — bring contacts in by import or capture link.
- When to use a List and when to use a Segment — static groups (list) vs dynamic ones (segment).
- Build your first pipeline — create an opportunity pipeline with stages.
- Mark an opportunity as lost — record why it was lost.
- Attendant assignment — how conversations are shared between attendants.
- Connect your Google Calendar — reflect bookings in your own calendar.
First visit, no contacts or companies yet
When you don't have any contacts yet, the screen shows a faded preview of the area, the title Add your first contact, a short summary and three highlights. The Add contact button does the same as the button at the top. The Companies list works the same way: with no companies, it shows Add your first company and an Add company button. A search or filter with no results doesn't show this screen: the plain message that nothing was found stays.

If it didn't work
- A CRM area will not open or is blocked: your role has no access — see no permission.
