Filter the board's opportunities
The Filter button at the top of the board opens a matrix of ready-made cuts grouped into four categories: the questions a sales team repeats every day. If none of them is what you need, the advanced filter is one click away and builds any condition.
Before you start
- Role: anyone who can see the board can filter it. The filter applies only to you and clears when you reload the page — it does not change what teammates see. Check what each role reaches in the permissions table.
Use a ready-made filter
- At the top of the board, click Filter.
- Click the cut you want. The board filters right away and the modal closes.
The Filter button stays highlighted while a filter is on, with the number of conditions next to it.
Actions — what needs someone now
Closing — when the money lands
Profile — what the opportunity is
Pace — how the pipeline moves
The cuts that look backwards — past due date and stalled — bring only open opportunities. Without that, every won or lost deal with an old date would show up in the list.
A pending task is one that still needs doing: both an open task and one that already has a scheduled time. It is the same rule that decides whether the card shows its next action — the Actions filters and the card tell the same story.
Clear the filter
Two ways, both under Filter:
- click the highlighted cut again;
- or use Clear filter, at the bottom of the modal.
Go to the advanced filter
Advanced filter, at the bottom of the modal, opens the condition builder: pick the field, the operator and the value, combine as many conditions as you want with AND / OR, and see the opportunity count before applying.
If you had already applied a ready-made cut, it opens with that cut's conditions filled in — you adjust on top of what was already in effect instead of starting over. For example: apply Stalled for 15 days, open the advanced filter and change the window to 30.
Frequently asked questions
Is the filter saved? No. It applies to your session on the board; reloading the page starts with no filter.
Does filtering hide opportunities from anyone? No. The filter only changes what you are seeing at that moment.
Why don't I see "My opportunities"? That cut depends on you having an attendant record in the workspace. Without it there is no "owner equals me" to filter by.
