  • Is the contact told that the call is being recorded?

No. Calls made through the Clickmax dialer are still recorded, but the contact who answers hears no automatic notice about the recording. Disclosing that the call is being recorded is the caller's responsibility.

This applies to every dialer call, for every workspace role.

What the contact hears when answering

Nothing but your voice. On answering, the contact is connected straight to the attendant.

Before this change, Clickmax played a spoken message of about five seconds warning that the call might be recorded. Because it played before any conversation, many contacts took it for a carrier recording and hung up or lost attention right at the start. The notice was removed so the conversation begins the moment the person answers.

    What to do instead

Call recording carries legal obligations — in Brazil, the LGPD. With the automatic notice removed, consent now depends on your sales process. Some ways to handle it:

    • Disclose at the start of the conversation. The most direct option: the attendant states in the opening sentences that the call is being recorded. Worth adding to the call playbook so every attendant follows the same standard.
    • Collect consent beforehand. Include recording authorization in the terms the contact accepts at signup, in the proposal, or in the contract.
    • Combine both. Written consent on file, reinforced verbally at the start of the call.

Which path to take is your team's decision — ideally with legal guidance. Clickmax does not make this disclosure for you.

    Recording still works

Removing the notice changed nothing about recording itself. Every call is still recorded and available on the contact's timeline, along with duration, outcome, and note — see where to find a call's recording and outcome.

Calls made before this change remain as they were recorded, including those where the spoken notice played.
