  • Integrate Kiwify

Create the integration in Clickmax with the webhook Token and a Kiwify API Key (client_id, client_secret and account_id) and register the generated URL in Kiwify. From then on, every event with an email creates or updates a contact (tagged kiwify), logs the activity in the contact history, updates the sale in Clickmax and can start an automation.

The API Key is what lets you pick products from your Kiwify account in automation triggers.

    Before you start

    • Workspace role: Owner, Admin, Editor or Collaborator. The Finance, Guest and Agent roles can't access Integrations.
    • Access to your Kiwify account, to open Apps → Webhook and Apps → API.

    Step by step

    1. In Clickmax, open Integrations, click Explore Integrations and choose Kiwify under Sales and Payments.
    2. In another tab, open Kiwify. In the side menu, go to Apps → Webhook and click Create webhook. Copy the Token shown and paste it into the Clickmax Token field.
    3. In Kiwify, go to Apps → API → Create API Key, name it and keep the Products permission checked. Under Seus dados para conectar com a API, copy the client_id, client_secret and account_id and paste them into the matching Clickmax fields.
    4. Enter a Name for the integration, keep the Status active and click Create integration. Clickmax checks the API Key with Kiwify before creating.
    5. Clickmax generates a webhook URL. Copy it.
    6. Back in the Kiwify webhook you're creating, paste the URL into the URL field, choose the products and check the events: order approved, order rejected, order refunded, chargeback, boleto created, Pix created, abandoned cart, subscription renewed, subscription late and subscription canceled.
    7. Save the webhook in Kiwify and, in Clickmax, click Finish integration.

    What each event does

    Kiwify eventIn Clickmax
Order approvedPaid sale and contact marked as a customer
Subscription renewedNew paid sale (each renewal is a charge)
Boleto created / Pix createdPending sale, which becomes paid when the order is approved
    Order rejectedFailed sale
Order refunded / ChargebackThe sale moves to refunded or chargeback
Abandoned cartContact activity and an entry in Sales recovery
Subscription late / canceledContact activity (the original sale doesn't change)

The sale value is the total paid by the buyer. Kiwify sales recorded before this change show your commission instead. Boletos and Pix that expire unpaid stay pending, because Kiwify doesn't report expiration, and they don't count as revenue.

Every event can be used as an automation trigger: in the trigger picker, open External events → Kiwify and pick the product. The product list comes straight from your Kiwify account, and you can also add a product by its ID.

    If it didn't work

    • Nothing arrives and Kiwify shows an authentication error: the pasted Token doesn't match the request signature. Copy the webhook token again (step 2). See the error codes.
    • The integration isn't created and a credential error shows: the client_id or client_secret don't match a Kiwify API Key, or the key was deleted. Check it in Apps → API or create a new one.
    • It says the credential can't read products: the account_id is wrong or the API Key lacks the Products permission. Edit the API Key in Kiwify and check Products.
    • My Kiwify integration is old and the trigger doesn't list my products: integrations created before the API Key was required don't have the credentials. Add the product by ID in the trigger itself, or create the integration again following the steps above.
    • The contact doesn't appear: Clickmax only creates the contact when the event carries the buyer's email.
    • You can't find the Integrations menu: your workspace role doesn't have access. See what to do without permission.
