      • Funnels

      A funnel is a sequence of connected pages — capture, offer, checkout, thank you — that walks a visitor down a path to a conversion. In Clickmax you build each step, link one page to the next and publish it all under the same domain.

      Before you start — Funnels sits inside Create and is open to the Owner, Admin, Editor and Collaborator roles. Finance, Guest and Attendant have no access.

      Where funnels live

      Funnels are under Create → Funnels. The My Funnels list holds the funnels from all your projects, and Create funnel opens the method picker.

      Each funnel in the list shows a thumbnail of the flow and, on a single line, the project it belongs to, the number of steps, its status (Active or Inactive) and the last activity. To see one project at a time, use the All projects selector in the filter bar and pick the project. This applies to both tabs, Funnels v4 and Funnels, which sit right above the list: the open tab is highlighted and joined to the list below it.

      Create with AI

      Under Create funnel, choose With AI. A box opens asking What funnel do you want to create? — describe your product, your offer and your goal, for example: "a funnel to sell my $5,000 mentorship, with a capture page, a sales page, checkout and abandoned-cart recovery".

      Clickable examples sit below the box. Clicking one fills in the field so you can adjust it before sending — nothing is sent on the click. When the field already has text, the example is added as a new paragraph instead of replacing what you wrote. The field takes up to 2,000 characters.

      The more specific your text, the less Max has to ask afterwards. If you would rather decide together with it, leave the box empty and click Create funnel with Max: it offers the same two paths as before — guided research, where you answer or skip each question about the offer, audience and style, and automatic creation, where it decides from the context it already has.

      When you send it, Clickmax creates the funnel with the placeholder name New funnel and opens its editor with Max in the column beside it, so you can watch the pages appear on the canvas as it builds. At the end, Max replaces the placeholder name with one that fits your description. If you leave halfway, the funnel stays in My Funnels with whatever was already built.

      Either way the result is a draft with responsive, connected pages and a shared visual direction. When proof is unavailable, Max may preview the final component with slots for the testimonial, attribution and metric, always identified as draft content. It should not invent testimonials, customers, numbers, certifications or results. Replace previews with verified information or remove the block before publishing.

      If With AI does not appear, your access to Max may not be enabled.

      Inside a funnel, each step is a page. When you add a step you either create a standalone page or use a sequence template — ready-made models that already bring several connected pages (Upsell, Downsell and Thank you, for example) for you to customise.

      Each funnel holds pages, the connections between them and, optionally, A/B tests to compare variations before publishing.

      On the canvas, each step card has an options menu (three-dot icon) with what you can do with it: edit, duplicate, replace the page, generate the link QR code and, once the page is published, open it in a new tab with View Page — while it isn't published that option stays unavailable, because the address isn't live yet.

      Max Design pages

      Publishing through Max also requires your approval. After starting, check the outcome: processing does not yet mean published. A verification build does not publish the site.

      Each page of a Max Design site can be connected to one funnel, in Funnels v4, within the site's project. Other pages of the same site can belong to different funnels. This also applies while the funnel is a draft or inactive: deactivating a funnel does not release its pages.

      A connected page is unavailable for another binding, including a second step in the same funnel. Occupied pages remain visible in the picker, with the name of the funnel using them. Remove the previous binding before reusing a page. Each address has one step responsible for its metrics.

      Publish the site in Max Design before linking its pages. If Max built the site in the conversation where you asked for the funnel, it can link each page to the right step once the conversation shows Publication is live. Approve the action when Max asks and check the links on the canvas. In My Pages, the current site name, page path and published address help identify each page; Link page reuses the selected page without copying the site or adding other steps automatically. Pages from another project cannot be linked.

      Arrows represent your funnel; they do not change site navigation. Configure button, link and form destinations in Max Design, then connect the corresponding steps on the canvas. If an arrow points somewhere different from the site configuration, visitors follow the site. The canvas does not automatically verify that the destinations match.

      Available triggers come from the published page version. Buttons, links and forms can be selected individually when identified in that version. If an element disappears after republishing, its configured trigger shows a warning: review the binding or restore the element in the site. Republishing does not remove or reconnect your steps and arrows. A page removed from publication becomes unavailable, but its binding stays reserved.

      If the site is republished or the page's funnel binding changes while a tab is open, reload the page before submitting a form. A tab using the previous configuration may stop recording new events or accepting submissions. If a form reports that page context is unavailable, reload and submit again; the rejected attempt will not be recorded in another funnel. The site's own navigation keeps working.

      An event observed for analytics does not by itself execute an automation. Automations need a supported trigger; a click does not confirm a purchase. Max Design does not configure Clickmax checkout yet: purchase buttons link to a checkout URL you already have, and checkout and purchase triggers are not available for these pages.       Max Design pages cannot be duplicated or used as full templates. A structure-only copy lets you configure bindings manually afterward.

      First visit, no funnels yet

      When you don't have any funnels yet, the list shows a faded preview of the area, the title Create your first funnel, a short summary and three highlights. The Create funnel button does the same as the button at the top and opens the funnel creation window. A search or filter with no results doesn't show this screen: the plain message that nothing was found stays.

      When you open a funnel, the board shares the screen with the conversation: Max sits in a column on the left and the editing area on the right, both visible at the same time. Drag the divider to give either side more room, or use the round button on it to collapse and reopen the conversation — collapsing does not interrupt an answer in progress. Adding a block from the toolbar still drops it in the centre of the visible board area, not of the window.

      • You cannot see the Funnels area: your workspace role may have no access to Create — see no permission.
