Why do I keep earning commission from my referral in Refer and Earn?
Because the account that subscribed to Clickmax through your link stays linked to you. The link is not limited to the first subscription: while it is active, you also earn when that account changes plan, buys credits or adds extras.
Role required: any workspace member can take part in Refer and Earn and track commissions. To actually receive them you need your bank details on file — see seller registration.
What now earns commission
Once the account is linked to you, commission is paid on:
- the initial Clickmax subscription;
- renewals of that subscription;
- a plan change (when your referral moves up a plan);
- purchases of credits;
- extras such as seats, and their renewals.
Previously only the initial subscription and its renewals paid commission.
Where you track these purchases
On the Refer and Earn Dashboard, the Referral purchases card shows how many purchases your referrals made after their initial subscription, and how much that earned you. The same count appears under Recent activity, with its own line on the chart.
Under Conversions, the Purchases column shows how many purchases each referral made. Click the number to open the breakdown: how much those purchases earned you, how many there were, and what was bought — with date, product, amount paid and your commission on each.
The breakdown lists purchases from newest to oldest, in blocks of 25. If the referral has more than that, use Show more at the end of the list to load the next ones. The two figures at the top are already the totals for the whole referral, not just what is on screen.
The subscription that created the referral is not counted there: it already shows as a conversion. The card shows what came after.
You must be affiliated to that specific product
Each purchase uses your affiliation for that product. If you are affiliated to the Clickmax plan but not to the credits product, your referral's credit purchase pays you nothing — and the rate applied is always the one on that affiliation, which may differ from the plan's rate.
Check which official Clickmax products you are affiliated to under Products & Deliverables → Affiliated products.
How long the link lasts
The link holds while the referred account's Clickmax subscription is active. Changing plan breaks nothing — moving up or down keeps you as the referrer.
The link ends when:
- your referral cancels the Clickmax subscription;
- the purchase that created the link is refunded or charged back.
Once ended, it does not come back. If that same account subscribes again later through a different link, the new link applies.
If your referral arrives through another affiliate link
Nothing changes for Clickmax purchases. While an active link exists it takes priority, and a different link used later is ignored. A new link only creates a link when the account has no active one.
The link only covers what Clickmax sells
The link earns you commission on Clickmax plans, credits and extras. It does not reach products from other producers sold on the platform: if your referral buys someone else's product through an affiliate link, the affiliate of that product is the one who gets paid — the commission its producer agreed with them stays with them.
In an order that mixes both (another producer's product plus a Clickmax item, say), the commission goes to the affiliate of the other producer's product. Each order pays a single affiliate.
When commission stops
You stop earning from that account if:
- your affiliation to the product is removed or is no longer approved;
- your affiliation is suspended by the product owner.
If the affiliation for the product that created the link is removed or unapproved, the whole link is suspended — including for other products. Approve it again and the link applies again.

If it did not work
- A referral's purchase paid no commission: check that you are affiliated to that product and that the affiliation is approved, under Products & Deliverables → Affiliated products.
- Commission is not reaching your balance: check your seller registration.
- A referral disappeared from your dashboard: their subscription was most likely cancelled, which ends the link.
