  • How do I filter contacts by the records linked to them, like properties of interest?

In the contacts filter (or when building a segment), add a condition from the By a linked record group and pick the relation — for example, Properties of interest. Then say how many linked records must meet the conditions (Any, All or None) and build the record's conditions, like "Sale price up to 900,000".

    Before you start

    Build the filter

    1. Open the contacts filter or create a segment.
    2. Add a condition and, in the By a linked record group, pick the relation.
    3. Choose Any, All or None.
    4. Add the record's conditions: title, owner, dates and the object's fields. Choose all conditions or any condition.
    5. Combine it with other contact conditions as usual, and save it as a segment to reuse it.

    Any, All or None

    OptionWho matches
AnyContacts with at least one linked record that meets the conditions.
AllContacts with linked records, all of which meet the conditions. Contacts with no linked record are left out.
NoneContacts with no linked record that meets the conditions. Contacts with no linked record at all also match.

With no conditions, Any finds contacts with any linked record, and None finds contacts with none.

Inside one block, the conditions apply to the same record. To let different records meet different conditions, add two separate blocks.

The filter works in the contacts listing and in segments. Score, automation triggers and export don't see linked records yet.
