  • How do I go back to a previous version of a page?

In the editor, click the clock icon (Version history) in the top bar. The version list opens in the left column and the canvas shows the selected version. Pick the version and click Restore version.

Role: any member with access to the workspace pages.

    Steps

    1. Open the page in the editor.
    2. Click the clock (Version history), between Redo and Preview, in the top bar.
    3. In the Version history column, click the version you want to check. The latest one comes selected.
    4. Check the version on the canvas. It is read-only: nothing changes until you restore.
    5. Click Restore version, at the right of the top bar.

The page goes back to the chosen version and the history closes. The restored version becomes the page's current version; to put it live, click Publish.

    Leave without restoring

Click Back in the top bar, or « at the top of the column. The editor returns exactly as it was.

    How many versions are kept

Each time the page is saved, a new version is created. You can store up to 10 versions; when you reach this limit, the oldest version is automatically replaced by the new one.

    If it didn't work

    • The column says there is no history: the page hasn't been saved yet. Click Save to create the first version.
    • Restore version is disabled: wait for the version to finish loading on the canvas.
    • The history closed by itself: it closes when you open Max, because both use the same space.
