  • How to filter a broadcast audience and tag, list or resend to who did not read?

The broadcast Audience tab lists every contact who received the campaign with the send status. You filter by status or search for a contact and can act on the selection. You can apply a tag, add to a list or a pipeline, send a new message, export a CSV and save the cut as a segment. The actions are the same as in the contacts list.

    Before you start

    • A workspace role with access to broadcasts.
    • Each action needs the permission of the equivalent contacts action. For example, applying a tag requires editing tags, and saving as a segment requires creating segments.

    Filter the audience

    1. Open the broadcast and go to the Audience tab.
    2. Pick a status filter:
      • All.
      • Sent: the message went out, including who already received or read it.
      • Delivered.
      • Opened/read: opened the email or read it on WhatsApp.
      • Clicked.
      • Not opened/read: received it and has not opened or read it yet. Failures and pending sends are left out.
      • Failed.
      • Bounce: shows only for email campaigns.
      • Pending: still queued or held by Meta.
      • Not sent: discarded before going out.
    3. To find someone, search by name, email or phone and press Enter.

    Select and act

    1. Tick the contacts in the first column. The header box ticks everyone on the page.
    2. To take everyone in the filter, not just the page, click Select all N in the bar at the bottom.
    3. In the bar, pick the action:
      • Manage tags: applies or removes tags.
      • Manage lists: adds to a list or creates a new one.
      • Send message: creates a new send to the selection.
      • Add to a pipeline.
      • Add to members area.
    4. Confirm in the action modal. Large selections run in the background and show up in the contacts bulk actions history.

Deleting contacts is not available here. To do that, use the contacts list.

    Save or export the cut

    • Save as segment opens a new segment already holding the Broadcast audience condition (the campaign and the chosen status) and the search, if any. You can then edit that condition in the segment builder like any other.
    • Export CSV exports the contacts in the current filter.

    Ready-made examples

    • Resend to who did not read: filter Not opened/read, Select all N, then Send message.
    • Tag who clicked the offer: filter Clicked, Select all N, then Manage tags with the tag "Interested".
    • Clean up the base: filter Failed, Select all N, then Manage lists to create the list "Review contact".

    Good practices and limits

    • The filter, the selection and the action use the same rule. Whoever shows up in the table under the chosen filter is exactly who gets the action with Select all N.
    • Changing the filter or the search clears the selection.
    • Ticking contacts one by one goes up to 1,000. Beyond that, use Select all N.
    • Sends without a linked contact show up in the table but cannot be selected.
