#What "Last activity" means on the pipelines list

Last activity is the time since someone last touched an opportunity in that pipeline — not the pipeline's age, and not the last time someone opened the board. If the label reads 5 min ago, an opportunity in that pipeline was worked on 5 minutes ago.

You find it in CRM › Pipelines, on the bottom line of each card, next to the attendant avatars.

#What resets the counter

Any write to a live opportunity in the pipeline:

• creating an opportunity;
• editing its fields (value, title, probability, owner, custom fields);
• dragging it from one stage to another;
• marking it won or lost;
• transferring it to another pipeline — this counts for the destination pipeline.

The most recent of these wins, whoever did it. It does not matter who acted, or whether an automation did it instead of a person.

#What does not reset the counter

• Opening the pipeline and looking at it. Reading is not activity.
• Editing the pipeline settings — renaming it, changing its group, editing stages. That changes the pipeline, not its opportunities.
• Touching an already deleted opportunity. Deleted opportunities are left out.

#A pipeline with no opportunities

A brand-new or emptied pipeline has nothing to count. The label then shows when its settings last changed and, failing that, when it was created. As soon as the first opportunity lands, the counter starts following opportunities.

#Why your number can differ from a colleague's

The card shows the last activity of what you can see. An attendant who only sees their own opportunities sees the last activity of those; a coordinator or admin, who sees the whole pipeline, sees the whole pipeline's. Two different numbers on the same screen in the same minute are expected — each is right for whoever is looking.
