How do I add a calendar to the funnel?
Add the Calendar step on the canvas and pick one of your calendars. A contact who reaches this step opens the calendar's public booking page, picks a time slot and, once done, can move on to the next funnel step automatically.
Role: any user with access to the funnel in the workspace can edit it. To make a calendar public from the funnel, you also need permission to edit calendars. See permissions.
Before you start: the funnel must be open in the builder.
Steps
- Open the funnel in the builder.
- Right-click an empty spot on the canvas (or use the + in the toolbar) and pick Calendar. If you dragged a connection from a step trigger, the step is created already connected: whoever fires that trigger is taken to the calendar.
- In How do you want to start?, pick an option:
- Use an existing calendar: in Choose a calendar, click the calendar. Each item shows whether it is Public or Private and the meeting length. Calendars already used in another step of this funnel show Already linked to another node.
- Create calendar: opens the calendars screen in a new tab. Create the calendar there and come back to the funnel: the list refreshes on its own and the new calendar shows up for you to pick.
- If the calendar is Private, the Make the calendar public step opens. A private calendar is closed to visitors. Click Make public and use. If nobody attends the calendar yet, pick someone in Who attends before confirming.
- The step card shows the calendar, whether it is public, the meeting length and the link. The card menu has Change calendar, Edit calendar (opens the calendars screen in a new tab), Copy link, QR Code and Remove.
If you close the window without choosing, no step is created.
Send whoever booked to the next step
In Send to the next step when..., on the card, the step already comes with the Meeting booked trigger. Drag the trigger dot to the next step (for example, a thank-you page).
- Meeting booked: when the contact finishes booking on the calendar page. It redirects automatically to the connected step, instead of the redirect set on the calendar itself.
The redirect applies to people who reach the calendar through the published funnel, and the step connected to the trigger must be published too. If the trigger is not connected, the calendar keeps the behavior set on it.
To fire an automation, connect Meeting booked to an automation step: it runs for meetings booked on this calendar.
If it didn't work
- The card warns Private calendar: visitors can't book. Use Change calendar, pick the same calendar and confirm Make public and use.
- Who attends is empty: add an attendant in the CRM settings and come back to the funnel.
- The calendar you just created doesn't show up: go back to the funnel tab (the list refreshes when you return) or close and reopen the window.
