How do I test whether the Facebook Pixel is working correctly?
- Confirm the pixel is registered under Traffic › Pixel and tracking and that it is checked on the screen you want to test — a pixel that was not checked on any screen fires nowhere. See how to choose which pixels track each screen.
- Publish the funnel's page.
- Install the Meta Pixel Helper extension in your browser.
- Visit the published page: the extension's icon shows the events being tracked and flags any errors.
If the Helper reports no errors and lists the events you expect (such as PageView), the Pixel is active.
Check the pixel's own history too
For events sent from the server, the Helper cannot help — they never pass through the browser. Under Traffic › Pixel and tracking, open the actions menu on the pixel's row and choose Delivery history: each row shows the event, the time and the result, with the reason when the send did not happen.
The same history sits on the pixel details screen, next to the list of screens that picked it — see where is this pixel being used.

If it didn't work
- The page is not published yet, or is published on a different domain: check in create a page.
- The pixel was not checked on any screen: open the screen you want to track and check it there — see how to choose which pixels track each screen.
- Events don't fire: check the pixel's Delivery history and the events sent by default.
- You tested in the editor preview: tracking does not run there. Always test on the published page.
