Can I use Tag Manager together with the Meta Pixel?
Yes. The two coexist on the same page. What changed is where each one goes: they are no longer two scripts pasted into the same field.
Do not paste the pixel's base code into a GTM tag or into a script field. The registered pixel already fires on its own, and duplicated code makes the same conversion count twice.
If you want to fire conversion events, use the pixel's own events instead of rebuilding them in GTM. The list is in which events Clickmax sends to my pixel.

If it didn't work
- The GTM container does not fire: confirm you entered the container ID only (
GTM-XXXXXXX) and that the page was published. - The pixel does not fire: confirm it is checked on the screen you want to track — see how to choose which pixels track each screen.
- Duplicate events in Meta: the same event is going out through the Clickmax pixel and through a tag of your own in GTM. Turn one of them off.
