  • Can I add scripts in Clickmax?

Yes. You can add custom scripts (such as tracking pixels or third-party tags) in two ways:

    1. In the page editor — to add a script to one specific page.
    2. In the domain settings — to apply the script to every page on the domain, in either the HEAD or the BODY.

What can go in the BODY

You pasteWhat happens on the published page
Plain JavaScript codeIt runs once the page content has loaded (without waiting for images and videos).
One or more <script> tagsEach tag's code runs in the order it appears; an external src loads in that same order.
HTML without a script, such as Google Tag Manager's <noscript>It goes at the start of the page BODY, as Google asks.
The same script on the page and on the domain (or funnel)It is applied only once.
A script with an errorIt is not applied. The page publishes normally with the other scripts.

    If it didn't work

    • The script does not load on a particular page: check that it was added in the right place (HEAD or BODY) — see Create pages.
    • A BODY script does not run, but the page published: it has an error or uses the same variable name (const, let, function) as another script on the page. Fix the code or rename the variable and publish again.
    • No permission to edit the domain settings: see No permission.
