  • How do I install the Facebook Pixel in Clickmax?

Under Traffic › Pixel and tracking. You enter only the Pixel ID — Clickmax builds the script for you. Do not paste Meta's base code into the Head field on the Script tab: pasted code fires on top of the registered pixel, and the conversion ends up counted twice.

    Step by step

    1. In Meta's Events Manager, copy the Pixel ID (digits only).
    2. In Clickmax, open Traffic › Pixel and tracking and click Add pixel.
    3. Choose Meta and click Continue.
    4. Enter the Pixel ID and a Pixel nickname so you can recognise it later.
    5. Choose the events it should send and click Add pixel.

The full registration flow — Conversions API, events per channel and delivery history — is in add a pixel and choose its events.

    After registering

A pixel only fires where you tell it to, and you tell it inside each screen: open the funnel, the page, the domain, the product — whatever you want to track — and check the pixel in that screen's pixel block. See how to choose which pixels track each screen.

If you want every new funnel and page to be born with this pixel, check Use on everything I create from now on in the pixel form — see how to use the same pixel on everything I create.

Publish the page and validate on the published screen — tracking does not run in the editor preview. See validate pixel and events.

    If it didn't work

    • The pixel doesn't fire: confirm it is checked on the screen you want to track, and that the page was published afterwards.
    • You looked for the field in the funnel or page settings: the Pixel ID has left those screens. Registration happens under Traffic › Pixel and tracking.
    • The conversion counts twice: Meta's base code is still pasted into a script field, alongside the registered pixel. Remove the pasted code.
