  • How do I use the same pixel on everything I create?

The pixel form has an option called Use on everything I create from now on. With it checked, every funnel, page, product, form or booking page you create is born with that pixel picked, and you never have to remember to check it screen by screen.

What already exists does not change — pick the pixel inside each one. That is the part that usually surprises people, and it is the most important point on this page: the option looks forward, never back.

    Before you start

    1. Turn the option on

    1. Go to Traffic › Pixel and tracking.
    2. Click Add pixel, or open Edit on the row of a pixel that already exists.
    3. On the Details step, check Use on everything I create from now on.
    4. Save.

The text under the option repeats the deal: New funnels, pages, products, forms and booking pages are born with this pixel. What already exists does not change — pick the pixel inside each one.

    2. Deal with what was already built

If you want that pixel on what already exists too, the way is the usual one: open each screen and check the pixel there. The steps, with where the block sits on each kind of screen, are in how do I choose which pixels track a funnel, a page or a product.

A practical way to see where it already is: open View details on the pixel's row. The list shows every screen that picked it — see where is this pixel being used.

    3. Uncheck it where you don't want it

The pixel adds itself to the new screen, but it stays that screen's own choice: you can uncheck it there, and unchecking neither turns the option off nor takes the pixel off other screens.

The reverse holds too: turning the option off later does not remove the pixel from the screens it already joined. It only stops adding it to the next ones.

On the pixel details screen, the notice This pixel adds itself to everything you create. Removing it here only takes it off this surface. exists exactly for that — so you don't think you removed the pixel from everything by removing it from one place.

When it is worth it, and when it isn't

    Your situationCheck it?
One pixel, one ad account, everything from the same businessyes — that is the case the option solves
You create lots of pages and have already forgotten the pixel on oneyes
Several projects in the same workspace, each with its own pixelno, or on just one of them
A test pixel, or one belonging to a specific clientno

The option belongs to the pixel, not to the project. Checked, it applies to everything you create in the workspace, including projects that have nothing to do with that pixel. If you work with one pixel per project, check few — or none — and pick inside each screen instead.

Linking the pixel to a project in the form does not change this: the project only organises your list. See add a pixel and choose its events.

    If it didn't work

    • The pixel did not show up on the funnels and pages you already had: that is correct behaviour. The option only covers what you create after it — check the pixel inside each existing screen.
    • The pixel did not show up on a screen you have just created: open the screen again in a moment. If it still isn't there, check it on the screen itself.
    • You unchecked the pixel on a screen and it came back: make sure it is the screen you opened. Unchecking on one screen does not affect the others, and the pixel may be reaching that screen from a screen above it — see the A pixel that comes from somewhere else section in how to choose which pixels track each screen.
    • The pixel joined screens of a project it does not belong to: the option belongs to the pixel and applies across the whole workspace. Turn it off and pick the pixel inside the screens it should track.
